AET, although not accredited, has been in operation for many years and is the oldest established training institution in explosives & blasting technology in South Africa. AET enjoys recognition from major explosives manufacturers and blasting industry, for example, Sasol and BME and various mining companies.

Our students are countrywide and throughout Africa. Our lecturers have over 30 years experience in armaments and blasting explosives manufacturing, training and use.

We offer two distance education courses, as follows :
